How Did I Create Natural Beaded Rows™ Hair Extensions?

I have very fine hair that I have never been able to grow past my collar bone.

Also, my front and sides have always been my “problem areas”. One of the many problems I faced as an extension junkie was compromising the integrity of my real hair and having less hair to cover the extensions.

From this cycle, you become dependent on them, and they start to look like “extensions”.

This weakened integrity, if continued for long periods of time, would have ended up leaving me 100% dependent on Hair Extensions for life, just to even have decent hair.

Over the years I have tried almost every hair extension method that has been created…

  • Glue-in,
  • Bead-in,
  • Tape-in,
  • Braid-in…
  • and many more! You name it, I’ve tried it!

One thing you may not know about even beaded row extensions is there are many different systems. When you hear hand tied extensions that’s just referring to the hair that used. Hand tied is the size of the weft.

Other beaded systems where the Beads are going in the same direction of the cuticle actually will cause MORE damage and more slippage and breakage because of the overall pull on the natural hair. Just like with different single bonded methods… not all are created equal. Make sure you do your research and go to someone who has a lot of experience.

I’ve discovered which hair extension methods are more damaging on your hair and which ones look best over time. In the end, I realized this one very important factor; The more areas you attach the extensions to, the more damage you experience, regardless of which method you choose.

So my end goal was to create a method with more fullness, with less hair damage.

How is this possible?

My Natural Beaded Rows Hair Extensions is a customized experience created for each of my clients based upon the head of hair they have and the look they are seeking!

I place on average only 1.5 – 2 rows of extensions in my clients’ hair during a normal seating. I sew multiple pieces of hair together and attach the row to the head using a bead and string.

There is no glue or tape involved, so the removal process is quick and simple and only takes about 5 minutes.

I try and be creative and think outside the box and this led me to experiment with the extension placement, color, and cutting.

After 12 years of work I finally had the BEST METHOD available with the least amount of damage to the hair, and the least amount of
time in the salon.

Natural Beaded Rows™ method was born out of my desire to cure my own hair dissatisfaction and has evolved into an international conversation with clients from all over North America. The NBR brand was created almost 8 years ago, although my experience with hair color blending and hair extensions has been a passion for the last 16 years.

I 100% believe in my own product and wear NBR Hair Extensions in my hair every single day, allowing me to constantly be testing and improving my method.

I am a mom of two beautiful children. I wanted to find a way to work smarter not harder. I put in my time like many stylists working 10 to 12 hour days. I was burning out behind the chair.

7 years ago I was faced with a tough reality in my life and was near divorce and financially struggling. I had no other choice than to figure out how to make more money while still allowing time for me to be with my family.

That is when I decided to discover my niche. How could I work half the time and make twice as much? I wasn’t catering to celebrity clientele at the time but I wanted to make what celebrity stylist were making. The only way to become a master of your niche is to narrow your clientele down to 95% of this.

I have had extensions in my own hair as well as done them on my clients over the last 15 years. It wasn’t until the last five years that I decided that I was only going to take color and extensions. This is when my income went up by 4x and I worked half as much. I thought, “This is crazy!” I didn’t even know this was possible!

I knew this was a solution for many other women and stylist who could benefit from this finding and could also relate to my story. I couldn’t keep this a secret any longer, I had to share and educate!

Over the last 7 years, I began to educate and truly perfect my craft. The better educator I became the better results my students had.

I am truly passionate and love the art and craft of what I do, but most importantly, love sharing it with others and seeing the success and change it has on their lives.

My education was developed not just to make a quick buck. I knew I had a product that worked and it was time to share my knowledge.
