If there’s one thing we don’t miss as women, it’s your hair appointment. If you love hair as much as we do you understand that hair day is the best day. Hair is your number one accessory, and you can’t put a price on the confidence you feel with great hair. I personally love seeing clients light up after the full transformation of my NBR Hair Extensions.
I pride myself on not only having the transformation look good in the before and after pictures but to look even better in person.
Because I wear my own product I’m extremely particular with how it’s placed, the color blending, and most importantly I want to be able to pull my hair up in a ponytail.
I have tried every extension method under the sun. The key to NBR is reps and experience, but also my own personal struggle with my own hair which has never been that great.
I wanted my hair extensions to stay in and not awkwardly have them slip out. There’s nothing worse than having your extensions slip out, or show with your hair pulled up. If you have worn extensions before you know what I’m talking about.
One thing I educate on is also to keep the integrity of the natural hair. The better condition your natural hair is in, the better the extensions blend.
I have had many clients come to me with their concerns, struggling with not having very many options due to the previous damage to their natural hair. But by placing a conservative amount of NBR in their hair we have actually been able to recover the damage while still wearing the NBR Hair Extensions.
If you’ve been on the fence for a while, I would encourage you to reach out to us. I promise we’re friendly and I would love to schedule a consultation with you to find out if NBR a good fit. Click here to find out more.
In this post, I also wanted to Spotlight Stacie, who was my previous assistant and now is full time on the floor. She’s an amazing colorist and I asked her to share one of her recent formulas.
This is Shaylyn. She Uber’ed in all the way from West Hollywood, still recovering from the night before. Her wallet and cell phone were both stolen, but she wasn’t about to miss her NBR appointment…..Much applause 👏🏼
She hadn’t had her hair colored in almost a year, which is almost like working with a blank canvas. Piece of cake – A hairdressers dream!
To start, me and my handy dandy pal Ian went in and did babylights all over. Then let that process and rinsed when she lifted to the pale inside of a banana. Next, we smudged her back at the bowl and then toned. BAM!
Babylights 20vol + Olaplex
Smudge 7.12 + 6n DiaLight 6vol
Tone 10.12 + 10.13 DiaLight 6vol
Don’t forget to turn in every Monday for a new hair post!
