Hey everyone, today I asked Ani to share one of her recent transformations:

Sometimes, transformations are a work in progress. One of my personal goals with NBR (Natural Beaded Rows) is to keep the integrity of the natural hair.  Hair extensions have such a bad rap, but in my experience color can cause as much if not more damage than hair extensions.

Amber came in at the beginning of the year wanting to be a bright blonde.

Unfortunately, her hair was fragile and breaking off. So going that light in her first appt was not going to happen.

Again, one of the things I consider most important is keeping the integrity of the hair, so we had to have a tough talk about expectations.

I explained it was going to take months and a few appointments to get her to the lightness she wanted WITHOUT causing more damage.

Here we are, 6 months later.

Not only is her hair lighter, but the top layer that was previously breaking off is now longer than ever.

One thing you can’t tell from pictures? How soft her hair feels now.

Sometimes it takes a little patience and hair love to get the end result you truly want!

Remember, Natural Beaded Rows Hair Extensions is an investment. Make sure you do your research to ensure it’s something you are prepared to maintain, and also it’s important to have realistic expectations.

Below you’ll see a few of my blondes from this last week at the DKW styling salon located right of Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, California. We serve many fly-in clients and would love to work with you!
