Happy Friday everyone.

It’s crazy I swear it was just Halloween and now Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Christmas will be here before we know it!! This year I am hosting Thanksgiving. To be honest with you this is probably the fifth Thanksgiving I hosted and yet I’ve never cooked a turkey. Every year I say I’m going to do it, it can’t possibly be that hard. But once again this year I reached out to my  neighbors Whole Foods.   The good news is I ordered some fabulous warming trays off Amazon and by the time the guests  get here they will  think I did it all… unless they read this post.😬😬😬

I got the cutest plates from anthropologie which I thought were dinner plates and turned out to be dessert plates. However they are darling and I decided to keep them. The flatware I chose to complement my plate was from West Elm.  I love food but to be honest with you I have more fun decorating the tables than cooking the food.  I’m more of a baker than a cook. So of course I will do the rolls dessert and salad everything else will be brought in.  it started out as a small guest list and has grown to about 20 people. Wish me luck I figure you can’t screw up rolls and dessert Ha ha.

My Thanksgiving dress is fabulous I’ll be posting that next week on my blog so stay tuned.    I’ve been shopping too much at anthropologie lately because their holiday stuff is just so great.  Every year I collect new tree ornaments for my little girls rooms. This year we  had to go with the pink flamingos.  It’s finally chilly enough to wear a sweater in the OC.  I love this one from anthropologie and just posted it last night  but  it’s already sold out!!  I linked  a similar one that I love so be sure to click on the links below to find out more about this look!
